Job Title:Sales Consultant

Location: On-site, Carnforth Head Office

Terms:Permanent, 07:30 – 16:30 (Monday to Friday), 7:00- 16:00 (Wednesday)

Reports to: Sector Leader

About this role:

This is an exciting new role to join our growing sales team. Working within the internal sales team to increase conversion of new leads and current customer account turnover.  As a key sales team player, this exciting role includes proactive follow up calling, email and reactive phone answering to nurture key accounts and close deals with the best customer experience. The Sales Consultant’s role is very intense and carries great responsibility as a key driver to the sales turnover of the business.

 

Responsibilities:

Sales expectations:

  • Have a full understanding of the products in the range and any new products that are introduced.
  • Understanding the clients need and qualifying the opportunity to ensure the appropriate product in terms of budget and client environment is proposed.
  • Accelerate the customer journey to quotation stage, action sample requests and ensure all the USP’s are communicated.
  • Ensuring the client is forensically followed up via phone and email during the sales process and receives all the information required to make the buying decision quickly.
  • Raising sales orders and ensuring stock is allocated.
  • Provide key account management and aftercare support to encourage repeat business.
