HFW's London headquarters, a four-year project by M Moser Associates, aimed to create a collaborative and sophisticated workspace that prioritised employee well-being and productivity.
The design team focused on balancing functionality with aesthetics, fostering a serene and inspiring environment. The space was designed to promote employee well-being, offering ample natural light, comfortable seating, and quiet zones.
Additionally, the design was made flexible and adaptable to accommodate future changes in the firm's operations.
To achieve these goals, M Moser selected a mixture of PlusFloor's Composition Loose Lay flooring, both in wood and stone finishes, for the communal, break-out, and meeting areas. This innovative flooring solution offered several key advantages. The stone and wood finishes of Composition Loose Lay complemented the calming design aesthetic of the space, creating a sophisticated atmosphere.
The flooring's robust construction ensured it could withstand the high foot traffic of a busy law firm, maintaining its pristine appearance over time. The loose-lay format of Composition allowed for quick and efficient installation, minimising disruption to the workplace. Furthermore, the loose-lay tiles could be easily rearranged or replaced, making it ideal for future reconfigurations and adaptations.
