We supplied Oktra over 2000m2 of carpet tiles for the additional fourth floor at ARU which enabled the University to accommodate an extra 1,000 students. Situated in the stunning architecture of the Republic Building in East London, functionality and user experience were key elements of the brief which demanded a variety of work settings and a consistent branded experience. Oktra created an agile working environment across the two floors which would transform the way the students worked, allowing them to choose task-focused workspaces. With bright colours, exposed aesthetics and biophilia, high benches and soft seating promote collaborative project work, while new individual booths and quiet areas offer space for concentration.
